Title:     Lead Test Engineer        

Essential Responsibilities:

*Test Engineer supporting the continued design, development, and quality delivery of clinical business intelligence and reporting application and database for the GE Healthcare Centricity EMR customer base.

*Write and execute test plans that conform to the technical and functional specifications for each release

*Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure a comprehensive set of test cases for all product enhancements

*Conduct verification testing on database and report deliverables

*Document and present test results as part of the GE Healthcare software development life cycle (SDLC) process * Review and provide input on installation and upgrade documentation.

*Assist with data validation strategies and methods

*Assist  Designers on complex design issues

*Provides QA guidance and functional support to product designers and engineers

*Leads and participates as a core member of a cross-functional development team

*Active participation in knowledge transfer and customer projects

*Contributes ideas on product and process improvements

*Participates in design review sessions

Qualifications/Requirements:

*3+ years progressive engineering or testing experience

* Exposure to SQL Server, relational databases or willingness to learn

*Knowledge in Windows NT, VMWare,.NET, Centricity Framework

*Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline

*Healthcare business aptitude with financial and/or clinical systems

*Detail oriented

*Solid problem solving and project management skills

*Ability to communicate and write effectively

* Must be willing to submit to and successfully pass a drug test

* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

*Knowledge and functional expertise with GE Healthcare clinical applications (Centricity EMR or Centricity Practice Solutions CPS) or non-GE clinical applications
